How To Measure Blinds
Measuring the Width (Inside Mount)
To measure the width for an inside mount, use a steel measuring tape and take three measurements across the inside of ayour window frame—at the top, middle, and bottom. Record the narrowest measurement to ensure the blinds fit neatly without rubbing against the frame. There’s no need to make any deductions yourself, as the supplier will adjust the width for proper clearance.
Measuring the Height (Inside Mount)
When measuring the height for an inside mount, measure from the very top of the window opening down to the window sill at three points—left, center, and right. Record the longest measurement, as this will ensure your blinds fit perfectly within the frame.
